Biswakuntala Children’s Home operates as an NGO-based orphanage, it relies predominantly on donations for sustenance. It mainly cares for children aged 7-8, providing them with not only a place to stay but also a hope for a better future.
One unique aspect of this home is its active participation in Pallishree Mela, where the children channel their creativity into crafting candles. In addition to the joy of creation, this project makes the children feel proud and helps them learn skills they can use outside the orphanage.

Graduates are not only provided with an education but are also empowered to pursue ITI or Diploma courses, opening doors to a myriad of opportunities.
Sabitri Behera, a shining example, emerged from the corridors of this orphanage to win a gold medal in her college with honors in Odia.
